Green June Bettle, pic taken at my grandpartent's house in Pozarevac, Serbia. These bugs were all over this pink flower's bush (it'c called Bozur in our language) and I would have taken a lot more pics if the rest of the family wasn't freaking out about waiting for me to start the lunch :D I would upload a few more pics but the flash didn't fire for some reason and they're almost 100% black, they look like crap when I try to brighten them.

So, enjoy this one little iridescent bug :D

Oh the tech stuff: Canon 70-300mm f4-5.6 USM IS turned upside down with an adapter ring.

this is pretty dang awesome. it's so in focus. i can never get my photos that in focus with my lens turned around.

zooom. i'm gonna get me a reversal ring for it soon. i'd imagine a prime would work a lot better though.

yes! i do! lol. is that a bad thing? :P it makes people look at you funny, that's for sure. getting a ring will help immensely i'd imagine. definitely would be less hazardous to my lens' health.

Well I've tried it once and it was a mess to say the least :D It was impossible to hold the camera, the lens and then take a picture that is 1) in focus 2) composed well :D
So I hope you'll get the ring soon, it cost me like 10 EUR, should be a lot cheaper on eBay :)

Hah, yeah. I've almost dropped my lens so many times. I usually put my camera on continuous mode and take a ton of pictures consecutively and hope one turns out in focus. It usually works. Heh.
